We're now checking the water traps twice a week.

When the water traps were checked at Wellesbourne yesterday (18 April) there were:

  • 258 male and 24 femaie cabbage root flies
  • 47 bean seed flies
  • 8 flea beetles
  • 175 pollen beetles
  • 21 cabbage stem weevils
  • 2 cabbage stem flea beetles

There was 1 carrot fly on the sticky traps.

We are now also sampling for cabbage root flies eggs (15 cauliflower plants). 17 eggs were laid between 15 and 18 April.
