Update from Wellesbourne

We're now checking the water traps twice a week.

When the water traps were checked at Wellesbourne yesterday (23 April) there were:

  • 199 male and 15 femaie cabbage root flies
  • 23 bean seed flies
  • 16 flea beetles
  • 149 pollen beetles
  • 37 cabbage stem weevils
  • 12 cabbage stem flea beetles
  • 56 cabbage seed weevils

There were 17 carrot flies on the sticky traps.

We are now also sampling for cabbage root flies eggs (15 cauliflower plants). 14 eggs were laid between 18 and 23 April.
