Latest 'news'

The first AHDB Aphid News has been issued. To date one potato aphid has been captured in the suction trap at Starcross and one willow-carrot aphid has been captured in each of the traps at Writtle and Starcross.

When the traps were checked at Wellesbourne on 2nd April there were:

  • 24 bean seed flies
  • 32 flea beetles
  • 2 cabbage stem flea beetle
  • 110 cabbage stem weevils
  • 894 pollen beetles
  • 1 carrot fly
