Pest update from Wellesbourne
Today's trap captures were (over 4 days):
- 24 carrot fly - 3 traps
In the three yellow water traps:
- 88 male and 14 female cabbage root fly
- 18 bean seed fly
- 10 pollen beetle
- 260 flea beetle
- 9 cabbage stem weevil
- 1 cabbage stem flea beetle
We are sampling for cabbage root fly eggs and there were 44 (15 plants).
Two turnip moths in the pheromone traps (2 traps per species).

- 41 carrot fly - 3 traps
In the three yellow water traps:
- 65 male and 16 female cabbage root fly
- 30 bean seed fly
- 10 pollen beetle
- 227 flea beetle
- 4 cabbage stem weevil
We are sampling for cabbage root fly eggs and there were 37 (15 plants).
Four turnip moths in the pheromone traps (2 traps per species).
