Pest update from Wellesbourne
Today's trap captures were (over 3 days):
- 104 carrot fly - 3 traps and only sampling in the new carrots now
In the three yellow water traps:
- 28 male and 24 female cabbage root fly
- 25 bean seed fly
- 101 pollen beetle
- 114 flea beetle
- 27 cabbage stem weevil
We are sampling for cabbage root fly eggs and there were 40 (15 plants).
No moths in the pheromone traps (2 traps per species).

- 97 carrot fly - 3 traps and only sampling in the new carrots now
In the three yellow water traps:
- 12 male and 6 female cabbage root fly
- 6 bean seed fly
- 44 pollen beetle
- 17 flea beetle
- 11 cabbage stem weevil
- 1 small white butterfly
We are sampling for cabbage root fly eggs and there were 98 (15 plants).
One turnip moth in the pheromone traps (2 traps per species).

- 1 cabbage seed weevil
- 1 cabbage stem flea beetle
We are sampling for cabbage root fly eggs and there were 50 (15 plants).
No moths in the pheromone traps (2 traps per species).
