Here is the latest edition of AHDB News.
- The peach–potato aphid has been caught at two sites in south-eastern England this week. These were first arrivals at Writtle and Silwood, both were over a month earlier than the 10-year average.
- A single willow ̶ carrot aphid (Cavariella aegopodii) was caught at Kirton.
- The shallot aphid (Myzus ascalonicus) is the most numerous aphid species in our suction-trap samples to date and has been caught at Starcross, Devon all the way up to York, a similar spread to last week.
