Today there were 5 carrot flies (3 traps).

In the water traps (3) there were:

There were no cabbage root fly eggs (15 cauliflower plants).

Many reports have been received of large numbers of cabbage aphids (Brevicoryne brassicae) on individual plants in winter oil seed rape in the South West and the West Midlands.
No peach–potato aphids have been caught in the suction-trap this week, but a single potato aphid (Macrosiphum euphorbiae) was caught at Rothamsted, four weeks earlier than the 10-yr average.
Single willow ̶carrot aphids were caught at three sites this week (Broom's Barn, Writtle and Wye), including a first arrival at Wye.
