Men's Trek Bike for Sale

Hi everyone,

Have decided it's too much hassle having an expensive bike so am selling mine on Ebay at a low price and going to buy a cheap one.

Just thought I'd let you know in case you're interested.

Also included in the sale are 3 Kryptonite New Yourk Fagettaboudit locks. Could be sold on for a profit.

The bike is for sale at link

Thanks

  1. A bike needn't be cheap (& unreliable?) to be theft resistant. Ever considered an unfashionable look?

  2. An unfashionable look? As in one I wouldn't like? Might as well just get a cheap one from my point of view.

I bought 3 Kryptonite locks for the bike so it would be pretty theft resistant. Just too much hassle now. Sick of worrying about it really.

Somoene will get a bargain anyway…

  3. Err
What's fashion got to do with style? Isn't fashion all about conformity?

  4. Don't know really. I like Trek bikes so I bought one. They are a atrget for theives. No longer want the hassle so want to go for a cheaper one which will be less desirable to them.

It will be a mountain bike as the Trek is. have no intention of changing what type of bike suits my needs.

Anyway, as said someone will get a bargain and just wanted to let guys on baord know if they fancied it.

  5. A friend of mine has just had his 15 year old Ford Escort stolen. So I suppose thieves will steal anything, they just start off trying the most attractive and then work down.

We need some really secure cycle parking on campus.

  6. I definetely agree with that. We really do need more secure parking for bikes.
