Rothamsted suction trap captures

The Rothamsted Aphid Bulletin for the week ending 27th July has been released. 2014webbulletin17.pdf.

  • Cabbage aphid was captured at 7 sites with highest numbers at Starcross (12).
  • Willow-carrot aphid numbers are now very low.
  • Potato aphid was captured at 3 Scottish sites, Newcastle and Starcross.
  • Peach-potato aphid was captured at 4 Scottish sites, Newcastle and Writtle.
  • Currant-lettuce aphid was caught at Elgin and Wellesbourne (1 at each site).
  • Black bean aphid was captured at 4 Scottish sites, Newcastle, Wellesbourne, Hereford, Rothamsted and Writtle.
