Rothamsted Suction Trap Captures

The latest aphid bulletin (10-16 June) has just been released.

• No cabbage aphids have been caught in the suction traps.
• The willow–carrot aphid was caught at fourteen sites with numbers increasing at nine sites and highest at Preston (138) and Broom’s Barn (183).
• The first currant–lettuce aphid was caught at Rothamsted - none caught elsewhere.
• Potato aphids were caught at six sites in low numbers.
• Peach-potato aphids were caught at four sites.
