Pest update from Wellesbourne

Today we found:

  • 1 male and 27 female cabbage root flies (3 water traps)
  • 31 bean seed flies (3 traps)
  • 20 carrot flies (3 traps) in our new carrots
  • 19 cabbage root fly eggs (15 cauliflower plants)
  • 12 turnip moths (2 traps)
  • 44 flea beetles (3 traps) - NOTE THE INCREASE IN NUMBERS SINCE LAST TIME!
  • 1 pollen beetle
