Catching up with the pest counts!
A bit behind with the blog as there was a meeting last week of the International Organisation for Biological Control Working Group on pests of vegetables....
On 23 September we found:
- 17 cabbage root fly eggs on 15 sampling plants
- 7 carrot flies (3 traps)
- 104 bean seed flies (3 traps)
- 5 small white butterflies
- 15 turnip moths (2 traps)
- 10 flea beetles (3 traps)
On 26 September we found:
- 1 cabbage root fly egg on 15 sampling plants
- 7 carrot flies (3 traps)
- 79 bean seed flies (3 traps)
- 4 small white butterflies
- 10 turnip moths (2 traps)
- 8 flea beetles (3 traps)
