Pest update

Between Friday (16th) and Tuesday (20th) we captured:

  • 826 carrot flies on traps in this year's crop of carrots (3 traps)

We collected a total of 70 cabbage root fly eggs from around 15 cauliflower plants (planted 15 April). The 3 water traps caught:

  • 12 male and 26 female cabbage root flies
  • 25 bean seed flies
  • 44 pollen beetles
  • 48 flea beetles
  • 13 cabbage stem weevils

There were no diamond-back or silver Y moths.
