Pest update from Wellesbourne

Between Friday and yesterday we found the following:

On 3 sticky traps:

  • 26 carrot flies

In 3 water traps in a plot of swedes.

  • 12 male cabbage root flies and 0 females
  • 24 bean seed flies
  • 7 pollen beetles
  • 1 cabbage stem weevil
  • 1 cabbage stem flea beetle

We have stopped sampling for cabbage root fly eggs.

We caught 2 silver Y moths iand 2 turnip moths n our pheromone traps.
