Pest update from Wellesbourne

Between Friday (13th) and Tuesday (17th) we captured:

• 53 carrot flies on traps in this year's crop of carrots (3 traps)

We collected a total of 0 cabbage root fly eggs from around 15 cauliflower plants (planted 15 April). The 3 water traps caught:

• 1 male and 26 female cabbage root flies
• 68 bean seed flies
• 90 pollen beetle
• 198 flea beetles
• 3 cabbage stem weevil
• 1 cabbage seed weevil

There was 1 turnip moth (cutworm) (2 pheromone traps).
