Pest update from Wellesbourne

Between Friday (26th) and Tuesday (30th) we found:

• 6 carrot flies on traps in carrots (3 traps)
• Total of 11 cabbage root fly eggs from around 15 cauliflower plants.
• There were no turnip moths, no diamond-back moths and no silver Y moths (2 traps per species).

In 3 yellow water traps within our swede plot there were:

• 3 male and 7 female cabbage root flies
• 36 bean seed flies
• 16 flea beetles
• 1 pollen beetle!
