Pest update from Wellesbourne

Today we found:

• 15 male and 23 female cabbage root flies (3 water traps)
• 28 bean seed flies (3 traps)
• 9 carrot flies (3 traps) in our new carrots
• 116 cabbage root fly eggs (15 cauliflower plants)
• 37 brassica flea beetles (3 traps)
• 1 pollen beetle (3 traps)
• 25 small white butterflies (3 traps)

Last Friday (28th) we found:

• 23 male and 33 female cabbage root flies (3 water traps)
• 35 bean seed flies (3 traps)
• 18 carrot flies (3 traps) in our new carrots
• 208 cabbage root fly eggs (15 cauliflower plants)
• 20 brassica flea beetles (3 traps)
• 25 small white butterflies (3 traps)
• 1 turnip moth (2 traps)
