Pest update from Wellesbourne

When the 3 yellow water traps were emptied today there were:

  • 4 male cabbage root flies (first of the year)
  • 46 bean seed flies
  • 36 pollen beetles
  • 8 flea beetles
  • 2 cabage stem weevil
  • 1 cabbage seed weevil

No carrot flies on the sticky traps.

  • 32 carrot fly - 3 traps

In the three yellow water traps:

  • 1 male and 1 female cabbage root fly
  • 17 bean seed fly
  • 1 pollen beetle


Todays trap captures were:

  • 18 carrot fly - 3 traps
