Pest update from Wellesbourne

Yesterday's trap captures were (over 5 days):

  • 97 carrot fly - 3 traps

In the three yellow water traps:

  • 3 male and 1 female cabbage root fly
  • 42 bean seed fly
  • 1 cabbage stem weevil

We have stopped sampling for cabbage root fly eggs.

  • 14 bean seed fly
  • 1 cabbage stem weevil
  • 3 flea beetle
  • 1 pollen beetle

We are sampling for cabbage root fly eggs and there were 0 (15 plants).

  • 68 cabbage stem weevil
  • 5 flea beetle
  • 2 cabbage stem flea beetle

We are sampling for cabbage root fly eggs and there were 0 (15 plants).

No moths in the pheromone traps (2 traps per species).

  • 25 carrot fly - 3 traps

In the three yellow water traps:

  • 7 male and 2 female cabbage root fly
  • 16 bean seed fly
  • 17 cabbage stem weevil

We are sampling for cabbage root fly eggs and there were 0 (15 plants).

Two turnip moths in the pheromone traps (2 traps per species).

  • 75 bean seed fly
  • 5 flea beetle

We are sampling for cabbage root fly eggs and there was 1 (15 plants).

No moths in the pheromone traps (2 traps per species).
