Great curry blogged – ALT–C 2004, Day 0
Today the elab E-learning Team drove down to Exeter University for the annual Association for Learning Technology conference. After wandering around the town for a while we found an acceptable pub.
Following an incident, the details of which for now will remain unreported (shock all round), we rapidly fled to a nearby Indian restraunt for what can only be described as a great curry.
Finally, we walked in entirely the wrong direction for 30 minutes before finding a taxi to take us back to the halls of residence.

Was your walking in entirely the wrong direction related to the curry, the amount of alcohol you drunk, or some other factor? ;-)

I can't say too much, but it did involve ladies undergarments.

i'm gonna need a 'hip replacement' ….lets go for a curry they said,
lets walk it and see the sights !
After seeing the railway station – a number of times, (they still insist it was a different station) i began to the think it was a good idea to stand on the same spot and wait for them to come round again!!!!
The pub visit was a respite from the treking, we fled when the other drinkers said it was a pub custom to swop clothes! Ateast the bar man gave us directions to a decent curry house.
