Westwood site
Concerns from Westwood site
- secure storage for non residents
- narrow pathway between the Westwood Sports Hall on the centre of the Westwood site, basically it is a footpath which cyclists use
- lack of local shower/changing facilities
- no locker space for off campus students to store foul weather gear
- lack of purpose made motor cycle parking leading to motorbikes being parked in cycle bays

Eh? Surely it's not too far to ride to the westwood sports hall changing rooms? At least, that's what I do.
Agree with all the other points, though.

Anyone who gets this far is invited to give their views about improving Cycle facilities on-campus to Adrian Lord, the Transport Consultant hired by the University, when he makes a campus walk starting at 10am on 14th Dec at University House (by cycle stands).
Brian Tustin is coming along to air his views about the Westwood site. Will you be coming along Chris?

I think so, conditional on it not raining to hard, and all my servers behaving themselves :-) Though I consider myself a relatively poor source of information; I'm currently in the rare and priviledged position of having a dry, secure office in which I can leave my bike, so all the concerns of poor storage and facilities are largely academic ones for me.
However, this arrangement might not last forever, so it's still in my interests to get stuff fixed.
It's a shame the consultant has come outside of term-time, since the pool of students available to come along is much diminished (and he won't get to see the horror that is Gibbet Hill Road at 9am)
