Dear Pig,
Remember Beijing? The dusty, sweaty, noisy city that always finds a way to frustrate you? It has seen a change. The sky has been clear for the past few days and one can actually see the sun hanging high in the sky. I don’t remember the last time I was in Beijing during early autumn when the summer heat finally starts backing off and the nature burns in its agony before the total hybernation. The first day I saw the clear blue sky above my head I thought of you. I thought, Pig, come back, Beijing can be nice, cool and clear too! Of course, it could be just my hormones talking, but I do miss you too!
Take care,

Congratulations first, Peng, as I know that you’re in Australia. :) I bet it’s going to be a very good experience for you.
Take care…

Hi Peng,
Stumbled on your blog (and was thrilled to see that you’re now in Australia) and just had to say hi (and also to Yang Lu and Brian – we miss you!). We’ve just started teaching another year of the 2+2 (Green Group) and some of them have launched into blogging in a big way (see Yang Shuang for example). I always think of you three – prolific bloggers and most academically gifted – is there a correlation??! Anyway I hold you up as models to emulate, hope you don’t mind. The group are really ‘high’ and excited about being in Warwick which reminds me of Gold group too… All the best, guys
