One thing to do before you die – rob a bank

Writing about web page http://news.ntv.ru/83298/

I woke up to this piece of news this morning:

A 75 years old woman has robbed a bank in the US. She had a skiing mask on and was armed with an unloaded 9mm gun. She took 5000 USD and fled on her Ford, racing at the speed of 72km/h for 9 hours until she was caught.

I was brushing my teeth and contemplating the idea of robbing a bank just before I die. It'd make my 'to do' list look so much more interesting! If one looks poetically at this incident, one may even find this act to be heroic! I reckon we should all rob a bank before we die – nothing too harmful for the society (the money will be given back), no one's hurt (unloaded guns only) and something different, daring, out of line endeavour done for the always law-abiding us. I don't even think the Bible would consider this to be a sin! Iím sure someone will eventually make a film about this!

The bible does clearly call this a sin. Just as important encouraging others to sin is also a sin. People could be traumatised by this, possibly killed. From a shallow light-hearted entertainment point of view it seems harmless enough but its not respecting others and treating others as you wish to be treated. Imagine being an employee in the bank as it happens.. hilarious

"I don't even think the Bible would consider this to be a sin!" I trust this was said in jest ;o)

  2. I did say unloaded guns – first. Second, I'd be quite entertained to have a 75 years old granny wave a gun around, perhaps not at me directly, no. Third – adverts encourage people to purchase things they don't need all the time. Is that equally sinful? Do we all go out and buy things they advertise? Can I not have some selfish fun at the end of my life? Would you please chill? :p

Maybe it will make a good business to organise a pack tour of bank-robbing to some first world countries…..
