marvellous people that inspire me

I met the most amazing person at lunch today. He’s 50+ years old, charming, knowledgable, very experienced in life, smart; he’s Chinese, married a Japanese woman and wouldn’t stop arguing with her about the Japanese war crimes. He rose from being the oldest son in his poor overcrowded family to being one of the most adored, laid-back and not-involved politicians. He spent 3 million yuan to adopt a couple of pandas. At the lunch he said ‘if you want to be popular in school, you don’t need to do well, you don’t need to create a scandal, just borrow my pandas, take a picture with them and send them to your friends and you’ll be known as the panda-kid – the shortest path to fame!’. He invited me to join the director of the academy of social sciences when they’ll be going to see the pandas! Great people like him inspire me.
