The first impression of Britain & What has surprised me the most?

My first impressions of Britain is that everything is new; the atmosphere is very clear; the circumstances is very clean and beauty; the buildings and houses all keep the ancient style that really like the pictures in book. Then?? when I got in Warwick which seems to be situated in the middle of the forest, surrounded by many trees and a river. I really prefer to live in here and enjoy the beautiful view.
However, what has surprised me the most is that the British people are very friendly and warm-hearted.
First of all, the British people are very friendly. Most of people say “Hello” to each other even though they don’t know one another.
For example, It was the first time that I have met a British people who just a passer-by greet to me, I was very surprised, so I had no time to say?¡À Hello”; she have already disappeared. However, In China, unless people are familiar with each other, they will not see each other. But, if strangers greet to someone, maybe he needs a help or has other purpose.
In addition, British people are very warm-hearted. Foe example, when I lived in Warwick University just a few days, I wanted to look for a friend in Heronbank in this school. But, at that moment, the school was quite big for me; and it was difficult for me to find there although I had a university map. Fortunately, when I was standing in Rootes at a loss, a foreigner came here and knew my problem, and then he took me to the Heronbank. While, at first, I felt a little afraid and looked around time to time to make sure that the situation was safe when I was following here, as we didn’t know each other. Nevertheless, on the way, he told me about this local culture and customs. Moreover, after he helped me to look for my friend, he left to Westwood. We don’t know each other, but he takes me to walk a long distance. I am very thankful to him.
In conclusion, the different countries have different cultures, so the people in different countries accept the different education. In Britain, the children were told that they should say “Hello” to different people and even strangers; however, in China, the children were told that they could not say words to the strangers.

My Chiese name is Yang Li, English name is Candice. If you like, you can call me Candice. :)
This evening, when I chatted with my flate mate, I knew today is her father’s birthday. Generally speaking, in China, when we heard of this, maybe we would say:”Happy birthday to your father.” However, I forgot to say at that time. Because I was not accustomed to speak English. I think to speak English is very difficult for me, but I really want to find a way to solve this problem.
