leadership with quality^^
During this week, I am running an EBM key module—-quality, reliability and maintenance. This module includes Demi theory, policy deployment, EFQM, TQM and six sigma those important quality factors. I am so exciting with this learning cause even those already concerned in leadership module but not been taught by this way. Therefore, I can learn more detail and could use that knowledge to think deeper leadership coach question.
It is related to the leadership one but it is also tricky to think it suitably. Quality is one of the key aspects in an organization. Good leader and leadership mean quality. With excellence coaching, quality leadership would exist and enhance in the future. How to use it? We need lots of solutions to suit different leadership situation.
Paul said in the quality class: a company not only need to tell buyers how to use the product but also need to give warning to tell them what things they can not do with the product. It means quality. He said the engineers need think about all the stupid things that customers could do^ think whole to avoid damage. The case Paul gave in the class shocked me and it let me will never ever forget it. When a product can show these features—-if it is not call quality then what it should call? From my point of view, good leader with good leadership also could have the same thought to avoid possible problems in an organization. Leadership psychology theory could show more detail with the point.
Based on the new product development, Paul told us that Change comparison demonstrates that best practice company is always better than common practice company. Any common practice company will cost more and more money and resources after start stage but best practice company will cost nothing step by step. The long term view can be achieved by best practice company. The quality of change need test in a suitable time. To think about Transformation of Leadership, it is also need quality and good time with right person to do the right thing.^
New Product need design, capability, quality, reliability and maintenance, which mean that it is a process of tolerance. Same like leadership and leadership coaching; it need well understand the organization, plan, quality, reliability and maintenance with long insight view. When it makes sense, leadership excellence will be achieved.
