My petrol rc car
Being an engineer I do like doing things with my hands… sometimes I like to build contraptions that, despite following instructions meticulously, never quite seem to work as predicted.
In this case however it isn't my fault. The car I am currently building, a Nitro racer, is part of a kit, and is build up over months; as new parts are sent mensually.
However there is far too much backtracking between issues and it is getting rather frustrating.
Just thought, since I now have a blog, I am entitled to my own little rant every now and then.

You do realise that you could probably buy a complete kit for less than half the cost of buying the part work, and actually guarantee having all the parts.
Anyway what sort of engineer actually reads instructions, except as a last resort once everything else has failed.

Well now we know what sort of engineer i am.
I think part of the fun is actually putting the model together. Of course it actually working is pretty important too. I normally get it checked by someone in a model shop before I break it.

i thought you should know better will than builiding something from a dodgy magazine – didn't you learn anything this year :P

Moo the Moo Foo
I bake cakes following the instructions 'meticulously', but they never come out as predicted.
It is not my fault however as I buld up ingredients over time and then use them as called for in the recipe. I still have a bag of flour that says: Best Before June 2003.

^^ Dude, if you don’t know, why not do some homework before just asking people and stuff? people are more likely to answer if you have a slight clue what you’re on about. I was going to ask where i can get a Corolla AE86 or RX-7 for under £200?
