The answer is TWELVE

I did work that out, but was hoping to set up a really poor joke about dodgy eyes that the world was better off without hearing anyway.
Possibly of more interest is the fact I read this entry shortly after wondering what the best possible opening play was. I know plenty of people who’d struggle to get 124 across a whole game!
