Excellence as a habit
”Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.” --Aristotle
First time that i did read this quote, it was like love at first sight!! it reminds me to the familiar feeling of someone's determination, and it's Paul's. The first day being in his class, lots of his words build me a strong inspiration and motivaton to think more and ask to myself how can i spend a year most efficiently, not just only on the educational products, but also personal life aspect. Being excellence is one of my goals; especially, in terms of doing business, it is a great opportunity for me to study CBE. It provides a brilliant knowledge of the outstanding model called EFQM Excellence Model which illustrates another business method used widely by many successful companies.
EFQM Model is a fantastic tool helping organization by measuring its position toward the appraoch to excellence. One of the most impressive key value from this method is the way to create a motivation, inspiration , productive strategy within the organizational workforce which will result in value its people to build a culture of empower. when people have a willingness to work and passion on their duty, the productivity will be produced. Especially, this approach will lead to an efficient habit not just as a responsible act.
Life is not a role in a play or being set by someone else, but it is yours which can be created and designed by you, so every choices you make should be the best and will not let you feel regret afterward.
The most improtant thing is not just using this method to run the business, but it would be able to adapt the concept and method in every aspects of life in order to be excellence in every parts of it as well.
