Pier
While I was in Brighton I spent a few hours sitting on the beach in the dark on my own just watching and listening to the breaking waves.
At some point during these few hours I decided that Brighton Pier was a garish Victorian monstrosity.
I considered the West Pier much more interesting

Agreed. But the arcades can be fun when you're watching your big sister make a fool of herself making silly noises, eating junk food and playing on the kiddies' digger…oh, no, wait….that was me…....
