You know something is wrong when MSN Messenger tells you it failed to sign you in because MS Internet Explorer is set to working offline while you've been happily using Firefox for the last hour or so. Does Messenger want me to open Word to write the messages as well? And Paint to draw the emoticons I wish to use?

  1. MSN is more hassle than it's worth, I got rid of it when I released I couldn't fix it so that the close window button actually closed MSN, rather than minimise it.
Why does MS think it can make a program "above the law" of it's own operating system?
