Chinese Chill Out
Well, yesterday got a lot better once 5 o'clock came and went. Me and some mates (Gadsby, Pidge, Max, Gem and Freddie) decided to go for all you can eat chinese in Leam, and at only £8.50 for an unlimited amount of food, you might say its as cheap as chicken chow mein.
After a dissapointing trip to the bus stop, only to find we'd missed a bus by 2 mins and the next one wasnt for half an hour, it was decided mainly by pidge, who was, and is always hungry (a girl after my own heart) that we should get a taxi.
A short trip later and we were enjoying the delights of too much food. We saw a young version of David Bowie, who, much to Max's disgust, apparently had better hair than Max.
Also we discovered that eating ice cream is a delicate art mastered by none other than miss sanders herself, and freddy discovered a new beverage involving ice cream and water, which was surprisingly good.
I don't mean to brag but i think i ate the most.
Anyway, soon after we were waddling to the bus stop, clutching our stomachs in satisfaction and mild discomfort. We wanted to get back to the graduate for Jakes inaugural acoustic session, and to support Max, who was still playing despite his broken guitar.
We all piled into the graduate in dribs n drabs, taking up most of the pub, and chatted through the stand up we couldnt see and the guy with the whistle type instrument.
Soon the time came for Jake's performance. Having been one of the few people there who hadn't heard his impromtue practising throughout rootes residences (more by luck than judgement, and i had been informed by some that it was extremely lucky) i was intrigued to see what kind of musician I would be sharing a house with next year.
The walls in my house next year are probably quite thin, so I was relieved to hear that Jake was actually a good singer. Not only was he a good singer, he was an absolutely awesome one! I was amazed! I still can't get over how good his 15 mins actually was. I am now looking forward to living with such a talented musician next year, not that I wasnt before mind you!
Max also played on his broken guitar, and still sounded superb as ever! I have now secured my place as his number one fan (yeah take that Will).
Anyway, I really enjoyed last night, it was nice to go out and have a laugh over a quiet drink for a change.
Another thing that i feel i should mention is mine and TomToms superb idea for a new type of music. Look out for the Barbershop Orchestra playing in a graduate near you soon.
Splendid! This calls for a sexy party!

Oh the glory of sundays!
well. i'm sitting here in my room, extremely bored. I've got nothing to do, (well thats a lie, theres plenty of work i could be doing, but i think someone once said that sunday should be a day for resting?) so thought id blog.
Then i thought to myself "whats the point in blogging when I've got nothing interesting to blog about?"
So i stopped.
the cusp of the blog
Well, its been a long time,
As no-one seemed to be writing anything on this blog i decided to turn it into my own personal blog, which is probably what it should have been in the first place!
I haven't written anything on here for a long time, whether thats because I've been to busy working or because I've been too busy drinking I'll leave for you to decide!
Anyway, im hoping i can make this into something interesting for people to read! So here goes!
