Ok, just to put you scum supporters straight…...
Follow-up to I hate Man United SCUM!!!! from never judge a blog by its name.....
There have been some strange comments on my last entry about the Man Utd vs Arsenal game, someone even suggesting that Man Utd were a more successful team than Liverpool. Just to put them straight, here are the FACTS…..
League Champions
Liverpool – 18 times
Manchester United – 15 times
Second Division Champions
Liverpool – 4 times
Manchester United – 2 times
FA Cup Winners
Liverpool – 6 times
Manchester United – 10 times
League Cup Winners
Liverpool – 6 times
Manchester United – 1 time
Charity Shield Winners
Liverpool – 14 times
Manchester United – 11 times
European Cup Winners
Liverpool – 4 times
Manchester United – 3 times
UEFA Cup Winners
Liverpool – 3 times
Manchester United – Never won it
European Super Cup Winners
Liverpool – 2 times
Manchester United – 1 time
So sorry guys, the only competition you've won more times than us is the FA cup, and total honours is 57 – 43 in our favour, so even if you have been the better side in recent years, you've got a long way to go to catch us up.
Don't even bother posting any more comments about this, I'm writing on this blog to record my time at university, not to prove that Man Utd arent as all conquering as their fans (who don't seem to know anything about football) make out.

[Skip to the latest comment]90% of Man Utd "fans" are glory hunters. FACT.
I wonder if everyone will be Chelsea "fans" if they have a couple of good seasons in a row…

Erm…interesting that you leave out Premier League as a competition. Remind me again how many times Liverpool have won that one?

Actually I included the premier league championships in the League Champions count, so sorry you're still behind!

Actually, what I said was "Where are we again, 1984?". Over the past 10 years I think you'll find that Liverpool have won near enough diddly squat.

Oh, and actually I'm a Mansfield fan. I was a neutral watching the game on Tuesday

Yeh just the FA Cup, League Cup, Charity Shield, UEFA cup and European Super Cup…..

I still raise a smile every time I coin the best Sheffield Wednesday side of recent times as "The Magnificent Double Cup Final Losing Side".
I still agree with the point. Yes Liverpool are doing relatively badly at the moment (what I'd do for Wednesday to be top half of the Premiership and in the League Cup final…) but way too many Manchester United fans think football records began in 1991.

At last, someone with some sense! I like you, not only cuz u see manchester united fans the same way as me, but because u support wednesday rather than the blades lol!

Hello I'm a friendly Manchester United fan who has just finished tormenting her Arsenal supporting godfather to bring you the following information:
Manchester United 4
Liverpool… erm, 0.
Manchester United 1
Liverpool… erm, 0.

Crap, you have won 1 double and i am aware of that but I can't type.

OK, cool, so Manchester United have won doubles and trebles, which shows that their dominance is concentrated over a shorter period of time, considering they have won less trophies and a lot of them were won during the same seasons (ie doubles and trebles). I suppose it depends how you would define success. Liverpool were dominant for decades, so Man Utd need to be dominant for longer than they have been so far to be as successful in terms of time. However if they do manage to keep up their success then they will probably easily surpass Liverpool in terms of trophies. I guess only time will tell! Nice to meet a true Man Utd fan for once, u seem to know ur stuff!

I prefer to think of myself as a football fan who just happens to like Manchester United. It's the difference between saying you support Man Utd and gloating over the results you saw on teletext/the internet, and actually watching games, including those which don't involve your club.
I support Man Utd cos my dad does (he's from Dublin where most people support either Utd or Liverpool) and it was my 'bad' luck to start supporting them as they started getting good again and attracting the glory hunters. Being a girl doesn't help with persuading people I really care but in my defence I do play football for the uni so it's not superficial.
Besides, at least I'm not an Everton fanatic.
