Week 2 Top Banana playlist

- AHEM…!

So due to technical difficulties last night we were unable to bring you any music at Top B. Hence, last night’s playlist…

However, fear not! The gaff in question has now been rectified and we will resume business as usual next week. In the meantime, Ed and I did our best to keep you entertained with acoustic renditions of Don’t Look Back in Anger, Mr. Brightside, Wonderwall, From Paris to Berlin and Chelsea Dagger. If anyone has any photos of this ludicrous feat of impromptu busking, please e-mail them to us via ccarter@sunion.warwick.ac.uk and we’ll whack them up online!

WE NOW HAVE A FACEBOOK GROUP!!! ‘Monkey Lovers Anonymous’ is open to all, go add us as a friend and get involved!

Last week’s Midnight Pounder poll will continue to run until next week when we will unleash the victor upon the Union with the full force of a megaton bomb. Have it!

Heh, the impromptu busking definitely made my evening – I was reminded of the scene in “Titanic” where the musicians keep playing despite the fact the ship was already sinking… Too bad no-one further than a metre away from you could hear you.

But you should seriously consider making Silent/Unplugged Top Banana a regular feature. Everyone loves a good a capella singalong…
