Konnie Huq – Legend

Is there any limit to the powers of Blue Peter’s longest serving female presenter? Equally at home skydiving, flipping pancakes or pretending to be interested in pathetic little lives of the children who write in to Blue Peter, she was a natural choice to carry the Olympic flame for part of yesterday’s relay. During the ceremony, according to BBC News, ‘A protester tried to snatch the flame from Konnie Huq but was wrestled to the ground’. Presumably Konnie executed a quick drop kick to the protester’s head rendering them incapacitated until security could step in.

But how come we’ve heard so little from her since she left Blue Peter? My suspicion is that MI6 have got her as a secret agent infiltrating terrorist cells and torturing bad people. I think she ranks above even Jack Bauer in my all-time list of favourite people.
