Solitude
Stumbled across this at the start of a movie the other day, it’s a poem by lord Byron.
There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in its roar:
I love not man the less, but Nature more.
Sue
Though I do love nature, I can honestly say that I love man more. Always bearing in mind that he is part of nature. Does anybody know if they still have “Nature tables” in schools?
