Had almost forgotten what fun ladbrokes is! However, the unpretentiously named $100 crapshoot changed all that, although I can't help feeling the 3 minute levels are a little on the generous side. I made a great comeback in this tournament, from just over one big blind. Whilst obviously luck plays a massive role in a tournament with such a structure, I definitely learnt something from it. It is imperative to be constantly evaluate and reevaluate who is prepared to make the marginal ZeeJustin type calls endorsed by Flash, who is waiting for the bubble to burst, and who should never have stopped taking their medication. I came 5th in the event for $770.
Yesterday, I decided to challenge myself and played the $250+20 lunchtime tournament, however, there were only 22 players on the sire weak/tight enough to play such a tournament. A shame as I gleefully slayed my way through a feeble field and found myself heads up with a commanding chip lead. However, I faltered here at a critical juncture and finished second for $1650. Whilst I have not been playing a great deal, I still recognise that my poor heads up play in this situation cost me $1.1k and so will put some effort into re–examining this part of my game.
Also, have been playing around with my sister's digital camera, so this blog might be a multimedia visual extravaganza in the near future.
