Here's a random thought for you…
Toast always lands butter side down if you drop it, and cats always land on their feet, so if you strap some toast onto the back of a cat what will happen if you throw it out of a window? Will it float?

Well, although this concept is quite dated, it does give rise to some interesting questions, such as why go to the effort of finding a cat when you could just butter both sides of the bread? How would you catch a cat anyway! I suppose you could construct a crude cat-trap consisting of a cage with a spring loaded door set to close once the cat starts drinking the bowl of warm milk used as bait… Also what happens if you cut off the cat's legs, or just forget to butter the toast? Physics dictates that a part of their surface must eventually make contact with the ground, but perhaps the object will become confused and simply explode.

What if you shaved the cat, cut it's legs off, and then covered it in butter? If you put it under the bonnet of a car it may fly… like in flubber.
