The Battle of Evermore

just a quick update to say that I do have puzzles drawn up for both yesterday’s missing entry, and the entry missing from the week before. Hopefully my laptop situation will be resolved before next Friday. More realistically, I hope I can get the missing two week’s worth out in the next couple of days.

For those wondering about the Sudoku time trial – I won over a fairly competitive field, although others suffered technical difficulties which may have changed things. Hurrah! For those wondering about the USPC, I scored a lowly 110 points after starting many puzzles, wasting plenty of time and scoring something akin to a British Eurovision entry on them. D’oh. It’s very likely that I won’t be going to the WPC in Poland later this year, although I think my reckoning makes me the first reserve should one of the favoured four pull out. There’s always next year. For more commentary on the USPC, I direct you to Thomas Snyder’s ever excellent blog linked to the left. Or indeed to the UK Puzzle Association forums!

Welcome to the blog of current UKPA sudoku champion, two-time Times national sudoku champion and general logic puzzle fan Tom Collyer.
