Crash Playlist Suggestions

First, let me just say that I really enjoy Crash, and am not trying to criticise it…..

BUT I really wish that they'd play a little more punk during the evening. Most of the time I hear far more rock, metal and indie with just a few songs each night dedicated to punk.

I know everyone would like to hear different things but here are some suggestions of bands I'd like to hear a bit more of in the future:

Bad Religion
Brand New
Catch 22
Flogging Molly
The Living End
Mad Caddies
Mighty Mighty Bosstones
Reel Big Fish
Something Corporate
Dropkick Murphys

I could go on…...

Let me know what you think, what would you like to hear at Crash??

Ska–punk is back!

5 out of 5 stars

I always presumed that no band could ever top Catch 22's Keasbey Nights as my all time favourite ska-punk album, but Streetlight Manifesto might have just done that.
It is hardly surprising though, given that this band has been formed by members of the original Catch 22 lineup.
This album totally rocks, it has that Catch 22 sound but it's like they have gone up a level, with each song almost perfect.
The songs range from fast-paced ska-punk songs to slower more ambient skanking tunes but all have a brilliant horn section backing up the great lyrics and outstanding vocal talents.

If you like ska-punk bands such as Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish, Catch 22, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, etc…... then you'll love this!

Everything Goes Numb

Divx players – for all you DC++ junkies

So, how many films have you managed to download? 100? 200? More?
Sounds about right, that network is sooooo good!

Jerky picture? Codec problems? No hard disk space? Small monitor?
If you answered yes to one or more of the above, you deserve better. Well now you can enjoy your films at your leisure on your TV. All it takes is a CD/DVD burner and a divx DVD player.

I bought mine in my first year and it has liberated me from the problems mentioned above.
I can now sit back and watch a film on my big nicam TV with any number of friends around.

When I first bought mine, these divx players were pretty hard to find and I ended up paying a fair amount for it, but now the bigger companies have caught up you can get high quality at low prices.
Amazon have, in particular, got some great deals and you can take advantage of that super-saver delivery!

Take a look now, you wont regret it!
