Google Maps API

Writing about web page http://erasmoperez.blogspot.com/2006/10/za-xochicalco-cuernavaca-morelos-081006.html

It would be really nice to be able to do this sort of thing on Warwick Blogs, and do away with my static photoshopped route maps. Any chance, guys?

Probably possible with sidebar items with Javascript…

Obviously I’d like to put such maps into a blog entry rather than a sidebar. If I can do it in the sidebar, what are the arguments for not allowing it in the body of an entry?

Wasn’t last time I tried! You need <script> stuff, which was explicitly filtered out once I think – somebody correct me if I’m wrong. Anyway, I couldn’t make it work! Perhaps I need to give it another go?

I think script tags should work now – providing you wrap them in notextile tags (to get around a currently unfixed bug). Not 100% sure though!
