Return to form for the strokes? I think so

Well I bought this cd the day after it was released full of anticpation and expectation. Having worshipped the "Is this it" debut but been a little unsure on "Room on fire", I bought "First Impressions Of Earth" hoping for a return to form and in some ways I wasnt disappointed. The open bars of "juicebox" made me want to get up and dance whereas the "mandy" inspired "Razorblade" prompted a bit of a singalong.In many respects the album is a much longer than its predecessors but Casablancas' songwriting leaves the listener entranced throughout. I thoroughly enjoyed this cd and think that 2006 could be the year for the Strokes to come back with a huge bang!!! Heres hoping anyway!
