Oh yeah

Follow-up to Dead 60s and Dead Shall from Hub of Creativity...

Also Ben, Charlie and Matt of the Dead 60s liked the photos me and Rebecca had taken at their gig at Bar Academy and asked me for a copy. Wheeee again.

Dead 60s and Dead Shall

Not LITERALLY dead you understand…to either of those things, but I just haven't slept properly in so long that I can't remember the last time I had a lie in, and the Dead 60s are just called The Dead 60s (or just Dead 60s? Not entirely sure, all these THE bands confuse the hell outta me).

Went to see The Dead 60s tonight. They were actually supporting The Thrills (Thrills?) but we didn't stay to see them because I had to be back to pack…ahem, not actually done any packing yet, but also Dan wanted to get some sleep as he has an early start tomorrow.

I think the interview (with The Dead 60s this is) went really well (well, in my opinion anyway). I've gotten a lot better at making interviews flow, I've discovered I don't work very well by glancing at notes from time to time. I'm better making brief notes and having things in mind, then just going with it. I am such a naturally curious and chatty person that I find it much easier to make it more of a conversation. Really want to do some magazine work experience where I can sit in on interviews and things. Really need to book some at Sugar now that I know the editor! Meaning that I won't feel awkward asking her stuff, cos she likes me being adventurous and giving people opportunities…

Anyway, so yes, Dead 60s remembered me and their tour manager went one step further and remembered my name! They're also all really nice guys which is cool too.

Was really funny at the gig, everyone moved into position for The Thrills after The Concretes. Some because they were hardcore D60s fans, and some because they thought The Thrills were next on. The latter group of people were pissed off when D60s came on, but lots of people went mental, and me and Dan had good fun bopping (skanking?) all the way through their set.

So anyway, now I must pack, and pop off to pack my stuff.
