It's only money…

… but it's disappearing fast!

Too much shopping these days – haircut 19€; CDs 55€; Ikea bed clothes and other house stuff 35€.. looking and feeling good, priceless. There are some things money can't buy; for everything else there's student debt.

Maybe I should get a job like everyone keeps telling me…

Hair cut courtesy of flatmate weilding sewing scissors 0€; CDs ripped from borrowed copies 0€; bed clothes on long-loan from neighbour's washing line 0€; helpful tips and suggestions from antipodean cousin, priceless.

Hey, as you were writing this my contractions were starting!

Ripped CDs and stolen laundry?! Alison my dear, what are you encouraging your poor law-abiding cousin to do?! In recent days I've managed to resist buying CDs and started listening to some that I already own.. the only problem is I've gone a bit crazy with books now – I finished 3 novels in English over the last couple of weeks, and yesterday replenished my stocks with 3 spanish novels. Variety is the spice of la vida, as they say!

I'm sorry, but my email to you has been held up due to lack of rain.. and if that's not a poor excuse, I don't know what is! Promise I'll get one off to you soon(ish) ;-)
