  2. *smiles with the panicked and slightly fixed smile of one who hasn't even thought about Christmas presents yet…

  3. I've thought about them. Just haven't done anything about it :D

  4. Ditto to Gav's entry.
    I get paid on Wednesday.
I will go shopping on Wednesday (in the evening, obviously).
I have the day off work on Friday.
I will go shopping on Friday.
Then, on Saturday, it will be Christmas :D

  5. Christmas is Sunday, isn't it? Not that I'm relying on that frenzied extra shopping day or anything like that… :-S

  6. …well Saturday is Christmas Eve, so I refuse to do any shopping then, because a) that would make me a man and/or b) I want to be getting pissed and having an early night to make sure that Santa comes…

  7. Cunning plan… I 've been dragooned into Christmas baking on the Thursday/Friday, and since I only get paid Wednesday too, Saturday has to be the second allocated shopping day.

And in my defence, I think the baking cancels out any implicit manliness. :-)

  8. So far I think I've bought one Christmas present because it was something my sister wanted that I had to order online. Everything else I haven't thought about yet, and I have a busy week coming up. It could well be a saturday shop for me; I haven't been this late ever before :-S But I really really really don't want to do it – shopping at any time of the year sucks, but near Christmas where it's rammed everywhere? Can't I just default?

  9. Lizzie (are you a Lizzie?) – in that case, I shall certainly let you off!

    Bah humbug, Siggy :P

  10. (I am a Lizzie! :-) And always a Lizzie, despite what it says on here. 'Elizabeth' always sounds like somebody else.)
