Beginnings…

Just started my studentship at the WMG IDL. Research will be focussed on medically orientated serious games and other use of digital technology in medicine.

  1. Hi Tim,

I’m interested in your research. What specifically are you planning to design games for?

  2. Hi Salma,
Generally based on using simulation of varying fidelity with the engaging properties of games (cough gamification cough) for training health professionals/students. For the general public/patients, applications could include communicating health information, encouraging treatment compliance and therapy/rehabilitation. I am however still considering the specifics.

    Cheers,
    Tim
