The winners of the PhD poster competition were announced a short while ago. The Vice-Chancellor Professor Nigel Thrift handed out the prizes.

Rosario Undurraga (Sociology) won the First prize (£100) for her poster titled "Woman and Work in Chilie".

There were three Commended Posters (£50 each):

Sevinc Ermck (CRER) for the poster titled "The Rise of Islamist Bourgeoisie Sine 1990's"

Shaheen Ashraf (Sociology) for "Woman and Water Management in Sindh, Pakistan"

Wee-Hoe Tan (Institute of Education) for "Game Based Learning for Formal Education Contexts".
