Researcher of the day 5
Friday's Researcher of the Day is Dr Michael McMahon.
Michael started as an Assistant Professor at Warwick University's Department of Economics in September 2008. He is currently working on a number of other projects concerning macroeconomic policy issues.

Alan is an Professorial Fellow at the Warwick Institute for Employment Research and he blogs about his research on changing occupational identities, continuing vocational training and skill formation.

Winners of the Charity Raffle announced
The winners of the Charity Raffle was announced yesterday by Professor Robert Lindley, Chair of the Faculty of Social Sciences during the lunch for PhD students.
The winners are
No. 12: Steven Birks. He wins £25 book token courtesy of Warwick University Books Shop
No. 46: Jenny Bimrose wins Warwick Arts Centre cinema tickets for two
No. 87 and 95: Dilip Mutum and Wee-Hoe Tan each win £20 'Eating at Warwick' credit.
Proceeds from the sale of the raffle tickets will go to the Coventry Refugee Centre Destitution Fund as part of Refugee Week.
Thanks to Warwick Arts Centre, Warwick Food and Drink and Warwick University Book Shop for their generous donation of prizes and thanks to everyone who bought tickets and showed support for a good cause.
