Fed Up

I was just blogging when a website I was looking at crashed Firefox and lost all I had written. Therefore I am now in a bad mood and will blog tomorrow (i.e. later today)

End of the old

Attended the final prizegiving ceremony at my secondary school today. I will miss it. It was the last time I will ever attend anything as part of the school and the last time I sang the school song as a student. It wan't quite as emotional as the final assembly. The next time I will be there will be to support my brother at a prizegiving or a play. I got one prize for destinction in the 2005 British Informatics Olympiad and one for good work in computing. A total of £22 in book vouchers. It'll help me towards buying course materials, else I can sell them to my mum for cash.

Only one week left before I come and join you crazy lot. I'm looking forward to it. Thanks for your correction Mathew Mannion and i'm sure i'll learn all the terminology eventually.

I have decided that I need to keep up to date with this blog as my mum had dug out her diaries from her university days. She is having great fun reading through them, as am I. She makes comments about a dinner if pie and chips being expensive at 52p at the nearby Aston University in Birmingham. If only you could get a dinner for that now we'd all be rolling in the money (I wish). I'm sure i'll survive, the rest of you students seem to do ok.

I think I am now really looking forward to this and ready to tackle it head on.
