Progressing

I'm getting better at this. This was copied from some random logo on the internet. I've now just got to learn how to make it all shiny and metallic. The next thing I might do is make a nice metallic version of the Macrolevel Software logo. I know it's already 3D and I don't want to take anything away from Firefox, the guy who designed it. It'll just be good practice for me.

Here's the logo:

Die

Again, not that sort of die, this sort of die

I think that looks good but I also think that 1:35 is a good time for bed.

Goodnight

Blender

No not that sort of blender, this sort of blender.

I've just also realised that I never did blog after Firefox crashed and I can't remember what I was going to say. Oh well. It may come to me at some point.

Anyway, back to Blender.

Blender is an open source, free 3D modelling, animation and game creator. I've never tried the game bit of it but I have used the animation bit before. I learnt some of it before but then didn't use it for a while so now I'm learning it again. I'm going throught a good WikiBook tutorial.

So far I have created:

A Man Wearing A Cap

A Range of 2 Mountains

and

A Gingerbread Man

I think the next thing to do is learn how to add colour to things. A grey gingerbread man doesn't look very appetising. The next tutorial is to make a Die which is Red so I will learn it there.
